Come experience an immersive celebration of Franco-Albertan history, memory, and identity, where theatre, music, and personal stories come together. On stage, three actors and four musicians bring key moments from our collective journey to life. Around them, an understated stage design creates a dialogue between live original songs and archival images projected onto a large screen. Past and present meet, and generations recognize themselves in the stories.

As part of the celebrations marking the 100th anniversary of the ACFA, the Cité des Rocheuses and FrancoMusik Alberta are proud to present the world premiere of Francophonique on September 18, 2026.
Neither a history lesson nor an exercise in nostalgia, this is a deeply human show—funny, moving, and intimate. It feels like a reunion for Francophones and an opportunity for everyone else to discover this story, performed in French with English translation projected on screen. You leave with one certainty, in the words of Jim Corcoran: “A living language is a sung language.”
